Europe Day 2017

4th ESO A & 4th ESO C are taking part in the Ambassador School Programme. Thanks to this programme, our students are having the opportunity of knowing and understanding better the European Union and its institutions such as the European Parliament.

As part of this programme, both groups have been preparing an "Info Point" in order to celebrate Europe Day 2017 and share with the other students all the relevant aspects they have been learning.

Let's talk about who we are and where we live

You must introduce yourself to the Language Assistants. In order to do this, you will work together with other classmates (in pairs or in groups of no more than four students)

Once you have a partner or a group, you have to design some slides about the most representative places of both Madrid and Móstoles. You can also talk about traditions in Spain.

The day of the presentation, in groups or pairs you will have to introduce you and/or your classmate(s) and then you will explain (through the slides) curious aspects about what to vistit/do in Madrid and Móstoles. Each single member of the group/pair must say someting about your slides.

Possible topics as regards curious aspects/places:

• Barrio de las Letras (Madrid)
• El Soto (garden in Móstoles)
• Gardens and Parks in Madrid
• The Royal Palace
• Festivals 
• Plaza de Neptuno
• Cristmas and the Three Wise Men
• Sports
• Gran Vía and Plaza España
• Shopping Centre - Xanadú
• Temple of Debod
